Feb 19, 2012 - Unfortunately, I've never slept well at all since childhood. I'd be lucky to get 5 straight hours of sleep a day. I'm working to get 7 to 8 straight hours of sleep. I'd be more than happy. Forget 12hrs for me.

Feb 19, 2012 - How on earth would we get 6-7 hours of sleep in nature? Would we walk around the forrest at night? McDougall cites studies that show people that sleep in are depressed. They need to study people that go to bed early though lol! No people staying up late at night on TV and sleeping in during the morning. People in Okinawa go to bed early. They have really healthy life times.

Feb 20, 2012 - Where do you get your iodine on a raw vegan diet? I'm eating cooked vegan today so I get some with the added salt. Obviously I haven't read Dr. Grahams book which I assume cover this issue. However, just hoping for a quick answer from you. Peace.

Apr 4, 2012 - Yo Durian Rider, you say that fruit isn't very stimulating. I completely agree, I just went 8-9 days on fruit and veg alone, no nuts or seeds. After about a week i got kindof drowzy and after that I started craving some cooked meat for something more substantial. Do you think more fruit more carbs is the key to staying completely raw? Do you ever have any trouble yourself eating entirely raw?

May 15, 2012 - 3:55 I need help??? I learned that sugar creates an insulin response and insulin stores that sugar as fat. is that not correct? is DURIANRIDER referring to glucose as oppose to sucrose or dextrose? can i just use sugar as energy and not gain fat then? any comments welcome.
